For me, modelling was never just about the photos. It was an act of defiance and reclamation. After having my confidence systematically torn down, stepping in front of a camera was a way to take back ownership of my image and my body. It was about proving to myself that I could be seen, that I could be confident, and that I could define my own beauty and strength.
